The upcoming season will depict how the royal couple, at the zenith of their authority, encountered an unprecedented financial crisis. The relentless offensives from Provence and Chartres against the royal couple not only provoked the nobles' animosity but also triggered a series of disastrous consequences. These attacks, combined with the financial turmoil, created a perfect storm that threatened to undermine their rule. The nobles, already resentful, were further alienated by the couple's inability to address the crisis effectively, exacerbating the kingdom's instability.
